According to one fellow traveller today...we are up to 50 locks....mmm as I said to her 'well.... never let the truth get in the way of a good story'... But you know..she may not be far wrong. Goodness me....day 2 now of day and night locks. Not that I am complaining... far from it. It it so amazing. I am awe stuck by the engineering. How do you climb a mountain on a boat? Good old EU money apparently had a hand in it.
We are really enjoying this river cruise. Even though we cannot escape the early morning call tomorrow morning ... It has been amazing so far.
